So as you know, we’re launching a new, entirely free, action learning programme for folk working in Colchester’s creative sector – everyone from artists and freelancers, to those running their own creative businesses or working in larger cultural organisations. Applications close on 2 June.

Earlier this week, we made a little video which tells you a bit more about what we have planned, and also gets into why I think action learning is so valuable to people who work in the creative sector. (I really do think that action learning is one of the best forms of support I’ve ever had!) It’s nice and short, so go on, take a look….(thanks to Matthew for filming and editing!)
Applications for our 1st 2 action learning sets close on 2 June
For starters, we’re going to be starting 2 sets in mid-June….
Set 1 will meet on 12 June; 17 July; 11 Sept; 23 Oct
Set 2 will meet on 18 June; 23 July; 10 Sept; 22 Oct
The sets will either meet daytimes (11.30am-2.30pm) or evenings (6-9pm), depending on what works best for set members. It’s free to join, but you’ll need to commit to every session.
Applications to join these 2 sets close on 2 June – just under 2 weeks away – and you can APPLY HERE.
With only 8 places available in each set, there may well be some competition for places, so good luck with your application, and if you have any questions, please do email me at julia@thehubuk.com.

I know that action learning is new to lots of people, so we’ve also made a short video that gets into the nitty gritty of what happens in an action learning set meeting.
