Claire Rice

Claire Rice has worked at the BBC for 10 years and in that time has been responsible for launching some of their biggest music and youth brands and events, including BBC Introducing, and Radio 1’s Hackney Academy. Claire played an integral part in launching BBC Introducing in 2007 and was its first Executive Producer, responsible for developing and delivering opportunities for new musicians across the BBC, working with partners across the BBC and in the wider industry. She launched the first Musicians Masterclass (a learning and networking event for new musicians and the industry) in 2010, and also worked to widen the presence of the Introducing stage at some of the biggest festivals in the UK and internationally.
